Dermogenera Chemical Peels

Chemical peeling is an accelerated exfoliation induced by chemical agents so newer, healthier skin cells can surface. The result is an improved appearance of the skin, with fewer signs of ageing. They are also used to balance sebum, improve the appearance of scarring and for pigmentation issues, peeling away imperfections.

Dermogenera cruelty free products can be adapted to treat every skin concern, formulated and balanced to deliver active ingredients where they are needed without causing irritation. Their philosophy is to purify, repair, hydrate and protect the skin in the most natural way possible.

Chemical peeling is an accelerated exfoliation induced by chemical agents. The result is an improved appearance of the skin, with fewer signs of ageing. They are also used to balance sebum, improve the appearance of scarring and for pigmentation issues.

It literally removes or stimulates faster exfoliation of the layers of skin so that newer, healthier skin cells can surface. In that process, blemishes, scars, pigmentation and other imperfections are peeled away.

The treatment includes a double cleanse with Gentle Cleanse to prepare the skin and remove excess sebum and dead skin. Then an application of Repair Balm to protect eyes and mucosal tissue followed by the chosen Peel (see below) for current skin conditions. Skin is neutralised and gently cleansed to remove the Peel. A Repair Super Hydrate mask and facial gauze is then used to help cool and repair the skins barrier. Lastly Repair Hydrate moisturiser and SPF50 is applied to protect the skin.
